Responsibilities
- Greets customers promptly
- Obtains customer and vehicle information
- Clearly reports all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
- Determines and recommends needed maintenance based on age, mileage, and vehicle history
- Prepares complete and accurate estimates of cost for labor and parts
- Establishes follow-up time
- Monitors the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers frequently
- Verifies that the final invoice reconciles with work performed on the repair order
- Explains all completed work and charges to customers
Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies in shipments
- Occasionally unload and load trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts
- Sort, label, and organize received items in the appropriate storage areas
- Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic systems
- Pick and pack orders for shipment to customers or other departments
- Prepare shipping documents and labels for outgoing shipments
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Proficient in using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading trucks
