JOB SUMMARY:

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors and delivering exceptional customer service assistance. This entails answering calls and fielding them accordingly, addressing visitor questions and needs, and providing an overall welcoming environment. This oftentimes includes performing administrative duties as needed. Planning, coordinating, and other duties as assigned will also be a function of this position.

EDUCATION:

Required: High school diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 1-3 years of relevant experience

POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification

Required: Must have strong computer and interpersonal skills, be an effective communicator, work well under time constraints, and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism.

Parts Associate

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status.
  • Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts.
  • Answer phone calls, and provide price quotes and other information to customers.
  • Review body shop estimates to verify the parts ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
  • Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers.
  • Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure the accuracy of stock.
  • Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
  • Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
  • Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and prior parts sales experience (preferred)
  • Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Service Tech

Purpose:

Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned heavy construction and/or agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, or senior technicians.

Job Duties

  • Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
  • Maintains current knowledge of Kioti, JCB, Gravely, and Competitive products.
  • Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
  • Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
  • Accounts for all time in the timekeeping systems and for all material used in performing assigned duties.
  • All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform basic and advanced repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual Procedures
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy construction and/or agricultural equipment.
  • Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license

Service Writer

Responsibilities

  • Greets customers promptly
  • Obtains customer and vehicle information
  • Clearly reports all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determines and recommends needed maintenance based on age, mileage, and vehicle history
  • Prepares complete and accurate estimates of cost for labor and parts
  • Establishes follow-up time
  • Monitors the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers frequently
  • Verifies that the final invoice reconciles with work performed on the repair order
  • Explains all completed work and charges to customers

Duties:

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices
  • Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies in shipments
  • Occasionally unload and load trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts
  • Sort, label, and organize received items in the appropriate storage areas
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic systems
  • Pick and pack orders for shipment to customers or other departments
  • Prepare shipping documents and labels for outgoing shipments
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Proficient in using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading trucks

Lot Assistant

Summary

Keeps the lot and its vehicles clean, presentable, and ready to sell. Parks and arranges vehicles for display, detailing, minor repairs, and mows and trims grass areas as well as performing general shop clean up.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Details and merchandise automobiles to be displayed for sale at the lot.
  • Patrols lot for trash and debris and secures lot and vehicles each night.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your direct manager.
  • Follow company policies and procedures and support company mission, vision, values and standards of ethics.
  • Daily attendance required to ensure all duties are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Delivering equipment to customers.
